Description  Giving the impression of folded and pleated fabric, Plissé’s soft and elegant design gives a playful nod to the world of scenography. The delicate movement in the design reveals hints of pure silk in the lining of the layered fabrics, evoking the trompe l’oeil spirit of Roberta di Camerino’s iconic designs from the 1950s. A three-dimensional mirage is created through artisanal dying methods where 3 base colors are meticulously applied to achieve 23 shades of color. Each layer of the design has a special pile height, shaved by hand, reinforcing the illusion of the unforeseen.
